Three offers. One outcome: more dollars in the room.
Engage us for strategy, the stage, or the entire program. Most partners choose all three — and never go back.

Frequently asked questions
What's included in a Capital Benefit Auctions engagement?
Most engagements include pre-event strategy (donor ladder, match design, run-of-show), live auctioneering and emceeing on the night (live auction, paddle raise / fund-a-need, mission moment), and post-event analysis. We also coach speakers, volunteers, and spotters.
Can we hire you only as an auctioneer without strategy consulting?
Yes. Strategy-only, on-stage only, and full-program engagements are all available. That said, the paddle raise typically grows the most when strategy and stage work together — most partners eventually choose the full program.
How much does a benefit auctioneer cost in DC?
Capital Benefit Auctions engagements start at $3,500 per event and scale with scope and travel. For DC-metro nonprofits, the auctioneer fee is typically 1–3% of total event revenue and is recouped many times over in paddle-raise lift.
Do you provide a master of ceremonies (MC) for the whole evening?
Yes. Many partners book us as both auctioneer and MC so the night's energy, scripting, and pacing are unified end-to-end. We also coach in-house emcees when an organization prefers to keep that role internal.
What size events do you take on?
We work with galas from 100 to 1,000+ guests. The Capital Benefit Method scales — what changes is the ladder design, the spotter and volunteer plan, and the production coordination.
